EtYMOlogY is the scientific study for the BEgiNNiNgS (origins), dERivatioNS and tRuE (CoRRECt) MEaNiNgS for LEttERS and WoRdS.

EtymoLogically, the English word Politics is derived from the Greek word PoLites which means Citizen, and the Greek word PoLites is derived from the Greek word Polis which means City.  Additionally, the English word PoLice is derived, undoubtedly, from the Greek word PoLis which means City.

Irrefutably, the English words Politics, Police and Citizens are derived from the Greek word Polis which means City.  As a result, New York City has Politics, Polices and Citizens.  Therefore, Citizens must be knowledgeable of Polices and Politics.
